Told to "exercise more" with no idea where to start?

Most people referred to our clinic have been given a diagnosis, a warning, and very little practical direction. We bridge that gap.

Chronic condition, vague advice

You've been told diabetes, heart disease, or COPD means "get moving" — but nobody has shown you what that looks like safely for your body.

Workplace injury limbo

You've hurt yourself at work and you're not sure if physio, exercise physiology, or a GP is the first call, or whether workers comp will cover any of it.

Waiting months for a specialist

You need assessment and a program now, not in twelve weeks when the public waiting list finally opens up.

Gyms that don't get it

Generic memberships don't account for a stent, a knee replacement, or a chronic pain flare-up. You need supervised exercise that understands your history.

What we do

Five allied health services. One clinic. One team that talks to each other.

Every practitioner at Greater West is university-qualified, industry-accredited, and part of a team that shares notes. No more repeating your story to four different providers.

Exercise Physiology

One-on-one consultations, tailored programs, and telehealth. Designed for people managing chronic conditions, recovering from injury, or building strength after surgery.

Physiotherapy

Hands-on treatment, movement assessment, and rehabilitation. Includes sports and motorsport injury management for when you need to get back to doing what you love.

Dietetics and Nutrition

Evidence-based nutrition planning from a practitioner with 25+ years of clinical experience. Fully integrated with your exercise program.

Remedial Massage

Therapeutic massage for pain management, recovery, and mobility. Not a spa — clinical treatment that complements your rehab.

Hydrotherapy & Work Capacity

SIRA-accredited for workers compensation, including formal work capacity assessments and return-to-work programs.

Signature programs

Clinical-grade group programs from $5 a session.

Supervised, affordable, and genuinely community-focused. Built for people who need exercise with medical oversight — not a gym membership and a good luck.

What our patients say

4.8 out of 5 on Google, in the words of the people we treat.

4.8 / 5 from 8 Google reviews

"This place is great! Mum had a stroke and needed to work on a few things due to that, and also lose some weight. Rebecca was great. She's knowledgeable and very accommodating. Other staff are also lovely. Atmosphere here is always positive and all customers seem to really enjoy the social aspect as well as the rehab/exercise aspect. They also have a nutritionist on hand. Would highly recommend."

"Great bunch of people. Great modern equipment and always someone around to offer advice if you need it. The classes look fun but a bit beyond me, I just potter along at my own pace. Bec, the owner, is very hands on and always greets you with a smile."

Questions answered

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a GP referral?

Not for every service. You can book exercise physiology, physiotherapy, dietetics, or massage directly. A GP referral is only required if you want to claim through a Medicare CDM plan, a workers compensation claim, or an NDIS plan.

How does Medicare bulk billing work here?

If your GP writes you a Chronic Disease Management plan, you're entitled to up to five allied health sessions per calendar year that we bulk bill — meaning zero out-of-pocket cost for eligible services.

I've been injured at work. What do I do?

Call us. We're SIRA-accredited, which means we can handle workers compensation assessments, treatment, and return-to-work programs directly — including the paperwork side of it. No need to figure out the system alone.

What's the difference between a physio and an exercise physiologist?

Physiotherapists diagnose and treat acute injuries with hands-on techniques. Exercise physiologists design ongoing exercise programs for chronic conditions and long-term recovery. Most of our patients work with both.

Are the group programs actually supervised?

Yes. Every group session is run by an accredited exercise physiologist, not a gym instructor. You get medical-grade supervision at community-grade pricing.

Where are you located?
